Step-by-Step Guide to Creating Your First Project
Choose Site Boundaries
Define the area you want to analyze.
Use the map interface to navigate to your site location
Click points on the map to draw your site boundary
Close the polygon by clicking the first point again
Tips:
Zoom in for precise boundary placement
The map shows your selected area in real-time
You can adjust points before finalizing

Project Name and Unit System
Set up your project details.
Project Name
Choose a name that helps you identify the site
Examples: "Willow Creek Farm", "North Ridge Property", "Backyard Homestead"
Unit System
Metric: meters, Celsius, liters
Imperial: feet, Fahrenheit, gallons
All assessments and data will use your selected unit system.

Add Contour Intervals
Define how you want contour lines displayed on your topography maps.
You can add up to 3 custom contour intervals:
Common intervals: 1m, 2m, 5m, 10m (metric) or 1ft, 2ft, 5ft, 10ft (imperial)
Permalogica also defines one default interval (1m or 5ft depending on the unit chosen)
Example:
Flat terrain: Use smaller intervals (1m or 2ft)
Steep terrain: Use larger intervals (5m or 10ft)

Review your project details and pricing.

Selected contour intervals
